A Week That Asked for Grace

Dear Travelers,

This past week looked a little different than I expected.
Instead of the slow, easy Thanksgiving rhythm I’d imagined, our family found ourselves navigating a few unexpected challenges — the kind that rearrange plans, shift priorities, and remind you how quickly life can change.

There were moments of worry mixed with moments of togetherness, holiday preparations happening alongside real-time problem-solving, and family stepping in for each other in the ways that matter most. It wasn’t simple, but it was honest. And somehow, we found our footing as the days unfolded.

My loved ones and I are still working through the week ahead, one step at a time, but I’m grateful for the support, the flexibility, and the sense of community that shows up when it’s needed.

And in all of this, I keep returning to something I also see in travel:
that even when a journey takes an unexpected turn, we can still move with intention, still find connection, and still make space for meaning.

So this Sunday, I’m reminding myself — and you — to breathe, to hold the pace that feels right, and to let grace lead the way into a new week.

If you’re navigating something tender or unpredictable right now too, you’re not alone.

xx,
Kay
